Description
A reworked version of my previous image, following advice from the good people in the Critique Forum. I believe this version is a marked improvement on the original.
Three renders in Poser 6. Background blurred out in Photoshop.

I like this one quite a bit mate. I think the changes you have made are for the better. While I liked th ambience of the prior image, this one has more of the "I'm gonna kick your sorry backsides off of this rock" feeling to it. The only other suggestion I would make about this is really due to the figure's stance and attitude. Since it looks like he's ready to blow away the entire alien hive, adding a shadow falling toward him of several aliens would would give it a rather interesting edge to it. Granted, you'd have to pull the camera back a bit to make it look effective (otherwise he'd already be firing his weapon). All in all another great image Paul.

I agree with 1010, this looks more like Vue lighting than Poser as it's very natural. Very impressive render!

that floor looks good ... the other elements are good too... but the floor stands out... probably due to lighting, reflections etc et all .. but its the floor that finally cathces the eye... oh... and the big guy wid de gun

wow much better than the previous. look of determination in his eyes and the added props add well to the scene instead of taking away from it or cluttering it. Excellent improvement

A big improvement on your last image and I think its really good however... Maybe a few blast marks on the floor from laser fire? Did his comrades in arms bleed? Did he help them? If so maybe this would be evident too onhis armour? Just a few thoughts that shouldnt take anything away from an excelent image
