This is a fantastic render. Almost kept in black and white. And it ain't called Spooky spring for nothing i can see.. You caught a very spooky atmosphere quite good. The old house in the background and the skeleton gate at front gives an amazing depth to the picture.

You're probably stunned to see me back here---this is your first upload (assuming you didn't delete things since then), and wow, looking around these old pages you've really posted lots of vivid styles. This is spooky and dark but very imaginative, and I can see that you've been doing montages for a long time, as you say (I discovered you via your photography and fractals long before I saw your mixed media work). The gray tint is very effective, esp with that huge sky back there---it's an enclosed piece but there's all this space back there too...The skeleton fence is very effective, and that half human half other planetary female looks like she's almost happy to be there. Very effective and moody, Barb. And being back this far (August of 2007), I half expect some ghost to come out of the shadows and say, "cannnnnn I hellllllllp youuuuuuuu?" Lots of comments from people who I don't recognize too...I assume you were an artist long before you came here---your work shows too much ease and mastery to have come from a beginner, but it's great to see your first upload, and what a large and positive response you got. Fine eerie lighting on the bone doors too...
