08/16/2007 I finaly won an honorable mention at our local photo club on 08/14/2007.

LENK911 was right they did comment on the dead flower and the flowers in the upper corners as being distracting. The presenter was showing the pictures in a program that allows you to modify the pictures and it did look better when he put an oval shadow that blocked out those two flowers in the upper corners.
I just got PhotoShop Elements and will try my hand at doing the shadow then post it here.

This is my submission for our local photo club contest for July pictures.
Comments on how to make it better would be appreciated.

This is a lovely and happy photo. I don't know what would make it better. But I do know I like this very much.

IT IS FANTASTIC BUT I KNOW FROM SOMEONE WHO USED TO SUBMIT PHOTOS TO A LOCAL PHOTO CONTEST, HE RECOMMENDS TO TAKE OUT THE DRIED FLOWER AND ANY YELLOW LEAVES BEFORE THE SHOT IS TAKEN. BUT SINCE IT IS TAKEN I DON'T KNOW UNLESS YOU COLOR THE ITEMS IN A PSP PROGRAM?
