yes very common and harmless but many people are scared to death. excellent capture.they do not come around my house with my dogs

I am a sucker for snake photos, I love the DoF, but I to am puzzled by the yellow filter.

excellent pov and dof, yellow wash over is a nice touch it gives it that B&W kind of contrast while adding some artistic flare,

That's another thing I don't like snakes... and spiders...and sharks. Probably cause I've had too many close encounters with them. But I notice you have a thing for crawly, bitey things and you shoot them well.
