Description
Tried to integrate the figures into a digital photo. Added blur to try and match the blur of the original image. Still looks a little off to me. Can anyone offer advice?

no advice! this looks really good...at least in my opinion..

I think you have over-stated the blur. The photo is in sharper focus than your digital element. To really match the depth of field in the photo you would need the most distant parts of the Gremlins in sharper focus than those that are closer to the viewer. A quick and easy way to 'fake' this effect is to duplicate the entire image onto (atleast) two layers in your image editing program. The different layers are then blured to different levels. then use a big soft eraser to delete some of the upper layer(s), matching the levels of clarity in the image. It helps if you have something to act as a reference in the photo running along the z-axis to visually guage the correct amount of blur by. Did that explanation make sense?? If not e-mail me, I'll explain it better. Cheers. p.s. the shadows are good, you got the perspective of the ground plain to match the photo really well.

Thanks Wednesday. I knew it was something simple, but I was just too close to the work to "see" it. I'll work on it and post again later.
