Very nice render Volker. Really like the POV, soft lighting and vegetation. Did you use an adjustment shader for variation in the leaves? Seems so. Displacements and surfacing look nice as well. Great job! Martin

The leaves have the original image desaturated, got a simple colour and a colour function (fed by three powerfractals). Some translucency and about 80% specularity.

Populous to the point where one sees a bit of a regular pattern in the trees... But who am I to say - I don't even try! Nice dense distribution!

Very nice cliff face texture. The tree
s look "CG-ish"...probably too uniform in texture and size. And Im not sure if those trees could grow on such a steep slopes.efflux
Good natural appearance with the soft shadows. The trees may not be perfect as in above comments but you are getting an overall good effect which is the way to move forward. TG doesn't have the power of Vue when it comes to vegetation but otherwise it is much better.
