My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Extremely beautiful work!

Lovely pic, but you've got me even more confused now....... I thought 'Three on the tree WAS an automatic!"...(I'm definitely a 'Four on the floor' type!)

Love the title! Beautiful shot.

Whatever happened to the poor flower? It seems so isolated. Actually, it doesn't look so bad; maybe it's the black background that makes it appear odd. But, on further examination, it resembles a watercolor painting. BTW, I have a manual/standard transmission, with the gear shift on the floor, and technically it's five on the floor, if you include the neutral position. And, I can't eat gorp anymore, which is really distressing.

Fantastic color and lighting isolating the main object. Well done!

You did a wonderful job of isolating the subject, Tara. I can only imagine your surprise when you saw the result. This is truly unique and worthy of your gellery.

It's definitely a guy thing. When I saw the title in the ebot I thought you had a photo of an old car. :-) But this is much nicer than any 40-year-old car. It does remind me of the 1960 Ford Falcon I learned to drive on, though.

LOL! Now I understand very well after reading your explanation. My father had an Opel Record with "three on tree" many years ago and I learned to drive car with such one too. HAHA! and you think your flower looks like such one. Ok I see what you mean, but beside that, it is a lovely shot and a beautiful flower and postwork. :)

Yes, this flower's hitch hiker does kind of remind one of a gear shift. Unusual. Love the colors!
