Description
This lake is pretty close to Deception Pass. (I bet that's why they named it Pass Lake!) I could tell you I got directions from Dennis (Cosine) and hiked for miles, drinking tepid water and eating gorp, in order to photograph in this remote location. The truth is that it's right by the side of the road, and there's a parking lot at the end of the lake. Martin just pulled in, I got out of the car and walked all of about 30 feet, and started taking pictures!
Pass Lake is on Fidalgo Island in Washington State, just North of Deception Pass.

I feel as if I were standing right there, and there's a really 'safe and protected' feeling, as I am enclosed, surrounded by that gentle, natural beauty. Very peaceful mood..........lovely

Hey, what's wrong with gorp? Gotta replace the Calories, you know LOL. Actually, the light blue sky gives this away. If you were really at altitude, the sky would be a darker blue. But enough about me. This is really, really pretty. It looks so peaceful and inviting. I, too, wonder why no one is there fishing. I doubt that there's much swimming, I can imagine the water temperature at pass level. Brrrrrrrr!! Excellent capture and presentation, Tara.
