Description

Ok, since you asked, here's the shot of me taking Deb's picture while she took mine. Obviously I didn't take this; I haven't perfected faster-than-light travel yet. But it shows another view of the hike, and in this one you can see that the trail gets better as we get down from the top. I suspect it's a direct result of the fact that not everyone goes all the way to the top, so the trail at the top doesn't get as much use. Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

I applaud you for being brave enough to wear shorts. Maybe not everyone is as klutzy as I am but if I was hiking up there on those rocks I would want long pants on to save my knees from scrapes when I fell.

Great shot! Thanks for posting it! I love gorp - not a thing wrong with it. Today I bought myself some really fancy stuff at Trader Joe's. Technically not gorp, but then I'm not technically going on a hike, either! (Actually, I was thinking more about lazing around at the spa.)

Well firstly, I think you are very brave to be wearing shorts - my legs would be ripped to shreds if I tried that (mind you, I'd probably not have ascended more than a couple of hundred feet before returning for my descent!!) and secondly, what a GREAT set of legs you have there Dennis!! I love this shot with the other man in the background, obviously more intent on reaching the bottom than you and Deb obviously were. A lovely capture - congrats to Deb!! xx
