I'm a software engineer by day. I spend my time pushing ones and zeros around, which is not as easy as it sounds. They're slippery little devils.BIOI discovered fractals in the mid 80's with Fractint on what must have been a 25 MHz processor. Around 2001 I upgraded all the way from 400 MHz to 1.8 GHz, and thought about making fractals again. I discovered Fractal Explorer, and later XenoDream. These days I use mostly XD and MBF, with an occasional image from ChaosPro and Quasz, since I've always loved quaternions.
For my photography I use a Canon 30D. My primary lenses are a Canon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 EF DO IS USM and a Canon 24-105 f/4 L IS USM.

I figure I can't even walk on these rocks and stay upright and now you tell me some guy is jogging up to the top. Now I really feel old! You have taken us to where only the brave and fit dare to tread, and I thank you for that because I'll never see it in person. That huge rock is impressive out there all by itself.

The rock and the two hikers form an interesting trio in this barren landscape. Well presented.

A great place to have lunch. The distant view is really spectacular. High above all the troubles of the world below. Well, that guy probably collapsed later on down the trail. Best to play it safe and walk. Some experts say jogging isn't all that good for a person anyway.

What a wonderful POV. It looks like you've walked across the ridgeline of somebody's roof. I'M not walking back down there! I'll fall right off that roof and you'll never hear from me again. I'm sure there's a way back down, but it sure doesn't look like it from where I'm sitting!!

Very cool rock! It looks like the trail is beaten down enough that you have good footing, but did you have trouble when you went down to the rock? It looks like it could be treacherous. I love the lighting in this image... you can see different colors in the rocks, subtle but distinctive. Great one!

LOL!! I would definitely tripped him up though! Not your normal place for eating lunch but most certainly a special one with such beautiful scenery surrounding you. Wonderful views. xx

Oh goodness. I will laugh about this for ages! Thanks for making my day, Dennis. Another good shot, Deb.
