Another in my "Small World" series.
This guy has obviously been working out...check out those pipes!...LOL.
Does anyone have an identification of this spider?.....until then, we'll just call him "Amos"

John, he (probably a she) looks like 'Jabba the Hut'. Incredible photography. I hate spiders; but, looking at it from here I do so without goose pimples ...LOL!

awwwww. i think he/she is kind of cute. and a beautiful color. but then, spiders mostly don't bother me, especially if they're not crawling on me. anything that eats mosquitos and other nasty bugs is aces in my book. but don't get me started on roaches...

I agree about the "Jabba the Hut" reseamblance, lol. Neat shot. There is not much here to help in an identification but the body posture with the legs drawn up in a stacked arrangement seem to indicate this is possibly one of the crab spider species although I sure as heck never saw one with a face like this, lol. Thanks for sharing. Lee
