I believe this is a tree nymp butterfly -caught a few weeks ago on my vacation in Michigan... , felt lucky he let me get so close to him ...,-or her? hmmm cannot for the life of me begine to tell thier sex haha -(uncropped ). It looks almost as if it's wings were painted onto it. Love the color and the contrast of it and how the background's colors differ from the foreground's. I've noticed that about the pictures of yours I've looked through and really like that :)
