Description

I made this for the Renderosity Egg contest and know it's a bit different but I thought it was fun and well done. The images that won were absolutely well deserved and I think the judges did a great job choosing them. What depressed me was that they listed a bunch of images as worthy of mentioning and mine wasn't there. I wish they hadn't done that. I guess I had 'entrant's remorse' because that upset me a bit. I figured the image sucked and I didn't bother posting it. Well, here it is anyway, lol. As long as I still like, why should I care, right? Now I feel like a baby...wawa, lol. The egg carriage was a freebie and I think it's called a 'hatchadrome'. Don't know who made it.

That's the worse part about contests, the feeling that our piece didn't get all the attention it deserved. That's why I don't take part on contests now! 8-) I did when I started because it was a good way to think about different themes and try to work something. It helped me start doing images. I haven't seen the winner but your image is worth mentioning. That carriage is great... although I'm not sure I want to see who goes inside. The atmosphere is wonderfully done. The ground suggests an alieness and it's good but I think you put too much reflection on it. Instead of an outdoor scene, it looks like a floor on a building. I wonder what kind of head takes to think an egg-cellent idea... 8-)
