Description
I made this for the Renderosity Egg contest and know it's a bit different but I thought it was fun and well done. The images that won were absolutely well deserved and I think the judges did a great job choosing them.
What depressed me was that they listed a bunch of images as worthy of mentioning and mine wasn't there. I wish they hadn't done that. I guess I had 'entrant's remorse' because that upset me a bit. I figured the image sucked and I didn't bother posting it. Well, here it is anyway, lol. As long as I still like, why should I care, right?
Now I feel like a baby...wawa, lol. The egg carriage was a freebie and I think it's called a 'hatchadrome'. Don't know who made it.

Not for nothing, dear, but it always feels like the people who win, have some kind of "in" with the judges. (nothing against the winners mind you). It's why I never participate in contests here anymore. Well done, did you use Hex? I'm having problems making a simple oblong shield. :P

the colours and fairy dust are outstanding. if you really want to know the kind of reaction this picture emotes read on: My (5 year old)daughter: what are you doing daddy? Me: looking at pictures? Daughter: can i see? Me: what one do you like? Daughter selects burpees thumbnail/ dad clicks on it. Daughter gasps!! ITS BEAUTIFUL...CINDERELLA!! Me: why do you like it? Daughter: its magical. note: none of daddys pictures are magical (lol)

contests means nothing. this is super looking here. at lest the egg did not break and all the kingmen can not put it back together

Great image Nancy!!! Sometimes the choices in these contests are hard to understand. Sometimes the winners are images I don't like or think are that well crafted but that's the way the egg breaks. Sorry couldn't resist. This definitely has a magical story book feel to it!!!

Egg-cellent concept and egg-ecution here, though I wouldn't want to ride in this when it gets a little ripe! As for the contest, I judged one earlier this year and it is dammed hard! There's always a bunch of really great images that just don't make the list, just cause you've got to make a choice and cut down the field. In any case, great work here!

Is this one of those new fangled horseless carriage's? If so, the designer should have put the steering wheel in front so the driver could see the road...lol. It's a shame you didn't get some mention because it's outstanding in composition and colors. Beautiful fantasy image. Love the effort on the background and sky. Thanks again everyone! As I said, the winning images were fantastic and well deserved. I think the judges did a great job picking winners. It was the 'mentionable' part I didn't care for. So many people got 'worth mentioning' that the few of us left out could only assume that we totally sucked. Just thought that was unnecessary and counter-productive.

Gorgeous! Don't care about contests, I was in the same situations so many times and I prefere bite my lips and stop my paws before I start type what I really think about... I find ur artwork pure GENIUS, I love it a lot and sure it win in my heart. It's dreamy, magical, funny and crazy, all my fav things!
