Description

We have a small fish pool out in the back yard. From time to time the pool attracts all manner of critters. Our daughter was out on one of her “bug hunts” on Sat. She said that she got to watch a small 3 ft water snake shed its skin while in the fish pool. Once the snake was done, she collected the skin as her new trophy and brought it in to show us. She put it in a big stainless steel bowl and added water, and just like magic you could see the outline of the snake again, pretty cool. (Don’t know where she learned that trick as I didn’t teach her and the wife is not a “snake friendly” person). Nature is always offering to show us new things if we just open our eyes to see.
