Description

In 1983, Cal F. Ornia appeared on a Minneapolis morning show to promote his new movie about a chimpanzee sent into outer space, called "Bye Bye Bonzo." In the interview, he recounted his early acting experience on the pilot of "Three's a Bunch." "It was like working with the real-life Addams family," Cal recounted of his castmates. "They were all really weird. The little guy thought he should sound like Mr. Howell from 'Gilligan's Island,' but the director wanted him to play it straight. He eventually complied after several retakes, but he refused to part with the cravat. "The blonde was really pretty but kind of scary. I was determined to find out if those huge things of hers were real. I found out the hard way that they were - and they're extremely sharp."
