Description

Captured 3/6/07 at the El Dorado Park Nature Center in Long Beach, California. Because of the title, there is one comment in particular I'm expecting on this one. Enjoy the upcoming work week to the fullest.

You are indeed correct - a stellar tree with the true stamp of Gemini on it. You do me an honor here... not only are you following in my lead and posting your own Gemini, but more than that, I AM a Gemini. It's almost like getting a dedication from you, Harry. :-) And by the way, those are some really stellar limbs on that stellar Gemini tree. (Now, did I step on all bases for ya? LOL)

So this is what the Gemini North telescope on Hawaii's Mauna Kea would look like if it were a relaxing tree? You lost me on this one buddy... ;'] Lovely textures and trunk knots though.

I'm also at a loss Harry, but I can confirm that I too am a Gemini and most definitely have two sides to me (lest us not get this confused with two-faced - for that, I am not!!) Wonderful colours and details to this shot and a lovely POV. The textures in the bark are wonderful. Hugs. xx

Lol 2 for the price of 1 aye, glad it's in repose otherwise you might of had to censor it lol. Excellent shot i love gnarley trees and their textured bark.

Smooching trees !!! Seen quite a few picture of frisky bugs on RR but this is the first time for amorous arborels. Very nice capture, texture is excellent.

Not only is this a stellar Gemini, but it's a stellar LIBERAL Gemini! Love the dual trunks, as well as the branches, twigs and leaves. Even without those distinctions, this is an excellent shot. The textures are wonderful! All those swirls and knobs are just fascinating, and I love the diagonal composition. Really fine work, my friend!
