Description
Captured 3/6/07 at the El Dorado Park Nature Center in Long Beach, California.
Dear, dear, dear...I had so many title possibilities running through the dark recesses of my cranium, I had a devil of a time picking one.
Now that I've chosen a title, which may or may not be the most appropriate, I need something to slow my racing mind to a crawl.
In any event, this shot is just one of several I've taken of bizarre trees from various Southern California locations that I have lurking in my database.
Have a terrific Tuesday!

Love all the detail and textures of this. Can't help wishing that full size was bigger though.

What an odd formation for a tree. I like the contrast seen on each branch due to shadows.

A marvelous bunch of trees with no apparent trunks but plenty of limbs shoving their way out of the ground. A wonderful find! I think your title is great! Love the dappling of sun on the ground.

This is a wonderful shot, and I love your title. Now I'm trying to figure out it's politics. A member of the mushy middle? Anarchist? Or just your garden-variety (!) politician, changing his mind?

Operation El Dorado etched this in my mind forever. The Aardvark finally got a credit. I can sit in my bent wood rocker with the AR-15 cradeled in my lap and think about old issues of Soldier of Fortune. The VA Center gave up it's dead.
