Description

Something a little different from me.I love the Aloe species...here in South Africa we have hundreds of types.A lot of medical research is being done on the medicinal properties of the plant species and there is talk of it making an impact on the treatment of HIV/AIDS here in SA and naturally worldwide. The naturally occuring hybrids that occur in nature are the ones showing the most promise with powerful extracts and high yields of essential oils and other extracts.A friend and myself find these hybrids, isolate them, take cuttings, propogate and finally replace and replant the endemic area where we found the original mother plant. The above photo is one of those natural hybrids that we have cloned and allowed to mature, resulting in a very vigorous plant and stunning flower tops.I really love this plant!!!This is a very psychedelic picture taken from a different perspective that I've used before for a Psy Trance Party flyer. No one had a clue that it came from nature...they wre all blown away when they realised they were standing amonst the plants themselves!!! Thanks for looking!!

Another incredible shot!! Is this a different species then the other shot? They look different, but this one looks like it hasn't bloomed completely yet, correct? Very interesting.
