Description

Looking back up to the pass of Glen Coe. Scotland. I've said before that you just can't really appreciate Glen Coe from the road, the eye popping views get better the higher up you get. But sometimes, on days like this, I can be quite happy to stay warm and dry in the car, turn the wipers on, blast out some Massive Attack and drive slowly through! Thanks for viewing.

Fantastic view, one can imagine a meteor bouncing through millions of years ago making the gap!

A beautiful play of light and shadow in this capture. And what a wonderful moody atmosphere you have too. Lovely scenery - I must visit Scotland soon. xx

I sure wish we had places we referred to as glens, dales, moors, and the like. Valley and hills, mountains, canyons and prairies, sometimes deserts or swamps. None of those names carries the romance and mood like Glen Coe... gorgeous shot. So very inviting.

I'll echo your sentiments exactly. We didn't manage more than a few minutes stroll before the cloudburst arrived. But this area is so awesome. Must get back soon. BTW, a 5 from me.

On a day like that I'd come in reeking of wet wool, and melt cheese and whiskey in a pan by the fire, to put on my bread while I warmed my toes! I love skies like that!
