Description

This is an African Violet from Ann's house. We moved the pot outside into the garden in order to have enough light to shoot. I took this photo several weeks ago, but couldn't think of a title for it. These things can't be rushed, you know! Suddenly I saw it . . . The two center petals look like you could tap on them and click them together to send Morse code, forming the dots and dashes of dark purple on the lighter petals. Poof! Ready to post. It's a good thing I only have to make myself happy with these things, and that I'm so easily amused!

Well there you go...it looks to me like an ink cartridge pen splattered on my precious flowers. These are really unusual violets. I love your pov. And the title is totally original. :-)

Morse Code? Cute! Okay....how about this for a title: Ooops, excuse me for sneezing on you! BTW, one of my classifications while in the US Army was as radio operator with full knowledge of Morse Code. Of course, this was WAY BACK WHEN. That said, I must say this is a brilliant capture, both figuratively and literally, of the lovely African Violet, featuring a fine POV, and gorgeous light/shadow, clarity and color effects.
