My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Of course you don't know what they're doing in there, do you? Perhaps it's best not to investigate. :-)

This is a very nice shot of Phygelius. I have one, but each drooping head is quite small, and I've had the worst time trying to get a decent shot! After seeing this lovely and entertaining view, I now officially give up! By the way, it only eats very little men!

Phygelius? Sounds like a character in a story about ancient Rome...perhaps a close confidant of Julius Caesar. Wonderfully detailed capture of this strange trumpet shaped plant, which appears absolutely voracious in its consumption of little men. Is this what we'll encounter when we first set foot on a distant planet, in a galaxy, far, far, away?

Too funny. Excellent!
