Description

This used to be my old high school, which is now scheduled for demolition. I personally think there was nothing wrong with it to begin with. I have not been getting any ebots in my hotmail to answer and am trying to rectify this. I want to see if this will post and that my friends are informed by ebot, when this is added to my gallery. I have heard there has been a problem with some ebots, but can't be more specific. I just added border and postworked in PSP9. It has been so hot here the past 2 weeks I have had to re schedule chemo in recent weeks. No way I could have taken it in this 100 degree weather. Please bear with me until I can get this ebot situation settled. Until then my comments may be few and far between. The admistrators here said they were having some trouble with new servers as more and more people were joining Renderosity, so hopefully, this will be taken care of in the next few days. Sure feels funny to come and sign in hotmail and not see any ebots to answer. I'm wondering if I am the only one having trouble. I am also at a loss as to know what to do. I have reverted back to my old hotmail tonight. I did not like the new hot mail version at all so maybe that had something to do with it as well. Until then please be patient be with me. I haven't forgotten my friends at Renderosity and still want to be a part of this wonderful community. All comments most appreciated. Hugs Susan~~~

It's always sad to go back and see things and places from our past (or is usually the case with me anyway!) but to see your memories up for demolishing really crushes the heart. This is a great capture despite the saddness it must bring, but at least you will have all your wonderful school-day memories. Hugs. Chrissy xx

There appears to be plenty of life in that beautiful building Susan. It's a shame that it cannot be restored and given a new lease of life as a business park, or offices. The lack of ebots is puzzling to me and I received this ebot with no problem, after you mailed me and told me you would be posting today. I'm hoping it sorts itself out for you. Stay safe! Steve :o)

Hi Susan I have been wondering how you were. I was thinking to myself just last night to send you a little hello note to check on you. Yes it is stinking hot here with temps 100 and heat index 104 to 118 somedays. I don't see how to poor people work outside in this heat. I went to the store yesterday and it was 99 with the heat index 111 and seen some guys working on a roof. I thought my gosh I would be in the hospital. lol Its ashame to see your old school torn down. They do that here also. They claim it will cost more to "update" to todays standards. Take care of yourself and don't worry about us. If you must you can always look at your who you favored list and take a look. But I would raither get the emails also. I'm not having any problems. Hope they get it fixed for you. Thanks for sharing your old school with us.

I wonder if it's your hotmail Susan. Have you looked in on the forums and ask in there if anyone else is having problems. Someone is sure to help you out.
I hate to see those study, old buildings torn down, such a waste!

It is for artists to record visual history, we entertain and amuse, but we also serve a greater purpose with some works, this applies to all mediums of expression. I'm glad you were able to capture this, I'm sure the building holds a lot of significance for the many who roamed its halls. Well wishes and cooler days~ =)

Sorry to hear your "fix" for the missing ebots did not work. I got notice you had posted so that is working - at least for me. I enjoyed this shot of your old school. My old high school, last time I drove by it back home, was not in use but it was being maintained. I think they were talking about using it for administrative offices or adult education classes or something like that. They've built 2 new schools in my little town that I know of since I graduated. I know that doesn't sound like much to people who live in the big city but for a small town that is really a building boom. :-)

How sad to see this building torn down, but at least you have the memory of those high school days. One of the homes I grew up in was torn down to make room for an airport parking lot - very sad to see it gone as there were many happy times there. I have the new hotmail, too, and seem to be having some problems as well. But I did get your ebot. CC

What a splendid shot of this building. Not easy to understand that it needed to be removed. It was once a very nice building I see. Best healing wishes for you.

My high school is being torn down, too, and you gave me a great idea to take a picture of it before it is gone so I thank you for that idea. I've been keeping you and your family in my prayers.

I bet you were sad to see it like this it must bring back so many memories. We live in an old house they say the older the better. New stuff the walls are to thin like paper. What a shame Susan :) Cathy xoxoxo

Great old building Susan. Glad you got a visual capture before it got demolished. Looks like some major damage beyond the vandalized windows. Like walls crumbling.. maybe it was time to retire the grand ol building. As for Ebots.. It's very possible that your Hotmail spam filter is blocking your Ebots. You may need to go to some sort of Spam control setup page and check if Rosity is on your/their kill list. If so, move it to your allowed list. New folks joining Rosity may not realize they enabled Ebots or Notices. They then identify all unwanted Rosity mail as Spam by dropping the Email in a spam bucket. Too many Emails dropped in too many Spam folders will cause Email processors to filter out all Rosity Emails. It's easy to fix in Outlook but I'm not sure how to do this in hotmail. Keep cool and hope you get to feeling better. Hugs from Dave :^)

I, too, have a hotmail account (also not crazy about the new version) but my 'Rosity bots are sent to my Road Runner email -- no trouble there. Beautiful remembrance photo ... and I continue to send good vibes your way for improved health.
