Description

Here is another example of a critter for Hayao Miyazaki to use in one of his great anime movies. I call it the “Little Greet Tank”. It is the size of a dry lentil bean. I believe it is a type of slug. I’ve seen it in one of my books just need to look it up. This is the first one I have ever seen, but then again I never looked too hard. Of course our eagle-eyed daughter spotted it while she was walking out side this afternoon and brought it in to show me.

I had no idea something like this existed...but I'm not all in a hurry to see one for myself. Excellent shot.

...and I used to make soup out of them! Cool pic. It looks a bit like a tiny, camouflage, horseshoe crab. I'm always amazed by the seemingly endless variety of plant and animal life. It's really cool that your daughter is so interested in nature. Like father like daughter. P.S. If you give her your camera, it's a good excuse to upgrade!
