Description

Something about the way this turned out made me think of the planet Saturn. I pass it every day on my way to work. (Okay - maybe that's a bit of a stretch. But people DO often voice the opinion that I may be from another planet!) These shallow pottery bowls live in my niece's home. The original background of this shot was a bit distracting from the main subject, so I changed it. The new background is a modified version of the original photograph. Now that we have the photo manipulation genre to play in, I STILL waffle! I used to dither between Photography and 2-D, and now I dither between genres. What was most important to me about this shot was it's abstract quality though, not the fact that I switched out the background. So . . . abstract won out. ................ I am convinced that you are indeed from another planet :) I just love your eye for seeing beautiful things out of just ordinary things I think the ability to see the art is the best thing about your art. I am certian I would have not noticed this beautiful work of art if I just walked bye, but you brought it for everyone to see. Thank you for sharing your work my friend
