Description

Nefer had ruled as Pharaoh for two years when a mystery infection hits Egypt. Always prone to illness (perhaps due to the amount of inter-marriage in his family!), he quickly contracts the fever, while others, including his wife Vikititi, seem immune. Vikititi hates seeing her husband suffer, but all anyone can do is to provide comfort. It soon becomes clear that Nefer will not recover. With no heirs, it is imperative to continue the Dynasty. As he lies dying, his priests ask Nefer to name his successor. In his last gasp, he utters the name "Vikititi!". To be continued... Thanks for stopping by!
