Description

Sunset in Monument Valley, AZ. I took this photo of the two "Mitten Buttes" and "Merrick's Butte" within a stone's throw of our tent. The "Tsé Bii' Ndzisgaii" (Navajo name for "Valley of the Rocks") is located on the southern border of Utah with northern Arizona.

Well, rocks sticking out of rocky dirt. LOL. It is quite lovely but it still looks very harsh and stark and a place of great stuggle to survive. Wonderful shot!
