My daughter Kyra at the base of a Baobab tree. I duplicated the image to a new layer and converted it to B&W; then erased out the blossom in her hand so that the color version beneath showed through. A little mirroring was done on the left to extend the trunk a bit. Please view full size for the best detail. ------

Oh now she is so cute Kort, you must be a real proud daddy! Excellently composed, you've obviously trained her well how to pose for you. The details in the tree trunk are brilliant and nicely done with the mirroring too. I love Mohandas K. Gandhi's quote - I must remember that one! Excellent B&W (I really must learn how to get such good tones and contrasts in B&W!) and nice use of selective colouring. xx

What a sweet shot. Your daughter is sooooo adorable, and this capture,is beautiful. I love the wonderful textures in this, but she looks so sweet there in her wee dress and anklets that she's all I can focus on. Nice touch with the selective coloring. This one's a keeper, Korterator. -M :^)

With all due respect, old Mohandas K. Gandhi has a lot to learn about human nature. He would be spinning in his grave if he took a look at civilization today. Anyway, great rock texture and lighting effects in this poignant capture, Kort. The cute little gal came out magnificently.
