"You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty. ~ Mohandas K. Gandhi (1869-1948)
My daughter Kyra at the base of a Baobab tree. I duplicated the image to a new layer and converted it to B&W; then erased out the blossom in her hand so that the color version beneath showed through. A little mirroring was done on the left to extend the trunk a bit. Please view full size for the best detail. ------

Awesome! I never would have guessed all the work that went in to this, I would have just thought, b&w with selective coloring. Your daughter is a beauty!!

She is a gem!!!!! Baobab trees remind me of The Little Prince... She looks like a Little Princess with her own baobab!

A tender and touching photograph of a beautiful little girl. You must be such a proud father! A creation of love ... Bravo!

A very sweet portrait. For some reason, the richly textured baobab looks like an elephant's head to me - maybe it's the Gandhi connection or the verbal connection between a tree trunk & an elephant's trunk or maybe just a purely visual thing...
