Description
This is growing in my sister's backyard in southern California, near the beach. I see it everywhere down there; it grows almost wild. As beautiful as this flower is, it has NO scent, unlike its plainer cousin. That one is used to make leis in Hawaii and the smell is intoxicating. I'm trying to grow one in my greenhouse; here in northern California tropicals are tricky, to say the least. But that's the fun of gardening; you get beauty when you least expect it!!

Beautiful flower photo. I have one in my yard its called "Daisy Wilcox" I think and has a wonderful smell. Even with no fragrance, still a treat to see. thanx ;-)
