My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

LOL, this is so true, I just spent several bloody hours whacking away at those @@@@ vines in a client's yard. But then, the miracle occurs, magic happens, you turn purple, and enjoy. This is just wonderful!!

Once upon a time I lived on a farm and had wild blackberries growing in the weed lines around the yard. They took over the rough areas but never caused any grief near the buildings. In August it was always a race to get the good berries before the birds did and listening to them screaming at you for taking thier food. Then of course there was the 'depositing' of yesterday's dinner on the sides of my pool - purple piles everywhere. I remember the long pants and long sveelved shirts as protection in 30C+ weather crawling through the brambles to get to the berries and then the jam . . . Jars and jars of the best jam I ever ate. Now its city living and store bought jam. Thanks for taking me back.

Wow what a great shot. You would never think that by puting a few blackberries in a glass would be that beautiful. You are right about blackberrie bushes though.Karen

Truly an odd hammer we live under. A little like the tribulations of human love and passion. Can't live with them and... you know. But still, I think it was a bad idea to import the darn things. The cobbler is to die for, add cream/ice cream, get fatter. Thank you!
