Description
Clarkson was an ancestor of mine. A few years ago my mother and I started researching our family tree. I found out about Clarkson on the web and told my mom about him. He died during the Civil War in a battle at Antietum. During her last vacation she decided to visit his grave at Antietum. Her and my Dad went there but was unable to find his grave. There was however 3 unknown soldiers buried there. After some research, investigating, hair pulling and 6 months of waiting she recently received a medal he earned during the war but didn't live to have it awarded to him.

A wonderful tribute to your fallen ancestor. Antietum or Sharpsburg as southerns call it was the most bloody day of the American Civil War. Over 29,000 men fell that day. May they all rest in peace. Thank you for honoring them here.

There is no glory in war, just sadness for the ones left behind. Very nice image. I have no idea what you made it in but you could use some depth in the fog and prehaps some depth of field...
