Description

Image created in ArtRage2, Pixia and Paint.NET. Although I'm now working on images that are not as intense and hard edged as my previous ones, I had to do a cover design for the magazine produced by an educational and training organization that had 'Climate - it matters' as its topic. This was my first major assignment and my first real foray into the world of digital art. It's probably not much of a 'painting', and full of technical and conceptual defects, but it's my first real digital 'baby', and I'm fairly well hooked now. My canvas and brushes are a bit forlorn these days...:) I wanted to somehow convey the conflict between man and his environment, and the idea of a 'bleeding, weeping sun'. Thank you for viewing. Your comments are always helpful. Best wishes, hanevi.

A splendidly evocative picture which illustrates the theme superbly. [Plus thanks for the welcome back, my friend - I hope to see you posting again soon] Mike
