A recurring character from “the Table of Five”, a Dungeons & Dragons campaign set in the Silver Marches of the Forgotten Realms. ““These People of the Black Blood may be too much for poorly armed, poorly trained militia to handle,” Rowan announced with clear arrogance, “but, I’m sure my expeditionary force can make quick work of them.” Aeron turned from the young noble woman to survey the solders marching in regiment about the court yard, their polished armor gleaming in the afternoon sun. “I’m sure they’ll never see you coming,” he replied dryly. “Tell me milady… have you every set foot in the Moonwood?” “I have no need for your assistance, or that of your Table of Five,” she retorted. “You are dismissed scout!” Aeron tried to put the arrogant noble woman, and the fools she would lead to near certain death, out of his mind… until a legionnaire rousted him from his bed, and Nykira arms. The man lead Aeron to the Lady Knight’s door, told him to knock and wait, then headed off… most likely to his own bed. Aeron pounded on the door, ready to make his displeasure very clear. He heard the rustling of movement, and then she called for him to enter. Stepping into the candle lit room, Aeron stopped dead in shock. Rowan knelt on the bed before him… naked! “I feel that I was too harsh with you earlier,” she said in a coy, seductive tone, as she moved toward the edge of the bed, “and too impulsive when I dismissed your offer of assistance. Is there any way I can entice you to join my expedition?”” A noble daughter of Silverymoon, and knight-errant, Rowan serves as a captain in the Argent Legion, the Silver Marches unified military force. A skilled warrior, but not above using her beauty and charm to get what she wants, she is use to the best in life, believing that her station entitles her to nothing less. Chosen to lead an expeditionary force of fifty legionaries into the Moonwood to deal with the People of the Black Blood, Malar worshiping lycanthropes, Rowan learns a costly lesson, when she, and the dozen men she left to reinforce the village of Quaervarr, alone survives, and only by the grace of the Table of Five. Humbled, but not defeated, she returned to Rauvinwatch Keep a far less arrogant woman, but even more determined to root out the People of the Black Blood. I hope this version appears younger, sexier and less muscle-bond then my previous one... which I have been told was too "amazon-ish"! Thanks for looking... Hope you enjoy!
