Description
Not much information on this one I'm afraid, the only thing I can tell you is, it is a Morris and was built by John Morris and Sons Ltd, Fire Engineers, Manchester. As with the Dennis it is a tight squeeze here in the Museum, so you can't get the angles you would like to get. It's only a smallish garage and holds three full size trucks, and several pumps, one of which is a steam opperated one. Hope to get some pics of that next week.
This is the last in the mini series on Fire, until the next time. Watch this space.
Thanks for stopping by for a view, and for any comments you care to make.
May the sun shine down on you where ever you are.
PS The curator did tell me that this one does run but they can't turn it over in the garage as it belches out thick black smoke. So on open days the fire crew on duty set to and push.

the only thing with museums is the way they pack things in! Great shot though Jeff. So much better full size as well.
