this is the end of the comic, but not the end of the story, see the remark at the bottom. why is not the 'cause' mentioned? well, any 'cause' will do - be it countries or businesses, great or small, or even families, the tactics and behaviour are the same. nothing is different. for the same reason there is no text on the posters on the 'propaganda' image. even the peace treaty has no text, what's the use? the two 'leaders' are not even aware of the image behind their backs, they don't feel guilty! why are there no dialogs? do you really need them? it's all been said and done, you should know the 'stories' by now. why stair wars? working on 'studying escher's staircase' i had a fight to make the image correct and needing to take my mind of the problems still to come. i started on a simpler 'stairs' image - from there, and with some backfeed, it just evolved to an image and then to a story. thanks a lot for looking at my little comic(?) and for the appreciation and the questions. koosie
