Description
one week ago i put the wip for 'relativity' by m.c. escher in my gallery. i tried to draw this fantastic image in 3d - finishing it proved more difficult than i thought and i did not succeed fully, but this will have to do.
i made it in yellow because of the better contrast - otherwise many details of the banisters got lost.
i had to distort the perspective just a little in my vectors prog.

That is totally amazing! Awesome work. My mind boggles at the original drawing, but doing it in 3-D? Wow!!!!

did you draw this by hand..?? or digitally. If digitally... what program did you use ?? I think this result is absolutely fabulous !

Wow! Koosie, your effort is a total success. This is one of your best 3D accomplishments. Simply stunning. I like the gold tone. Your attention to detail and your patience is to be lauded. Hugs, Suzanne

Fantastic job, some of those stairs look really scary! - er, that's if you could manage to walk upside down in the first place. M.C. Escher has always fascinated me. Are you planning on populating the model with the other stuff he has in the drawing?

It's beautiful! and interesting, and very well created!!!!! Fascinating might be the best word to describe it though. I'm so happy I came to visit your gallery, koosie. I really like your colour choice. I can't stop trying to walk around there. I have to stop before my neck goes nuts about all twisting... LOL. This is a super image, koosie. I truly admire your skills, very clever and beautiful work!!!! Take care!!!!!!!!!

man that is so cool nice work

Very nice, Koosie. You're right - the yellow does give this more details. I do believe quite a bit of Escher's work can be done in a 3D program (he was a genius in my opinion), but I'm not about to try to find out. ;)
