Sorry for jumping around on subject matters here... i promise when i get back i´ll set up a chronological / subject matter ordered gallery on my webpage to make things a bit more contextual for those who want to see more of Peru. It´s just that i wanted to post this up - this was one of the volunteers who was here at the start of my stay: Lena. She just screamed at me to ask her if i could take some portraits... well not literally, but you get the picture: her red hair, her blue/green/brown (yes... all three) eyes and her propensity to wear turquoise forced the decision on me ;)
So this is the favourite from the shoot, i think it is going to be the only model shoot i am going to pay for using a snickers bar (although she didnt know that until we finished)... good chocolate is a rarety where i am staying and Oreos have been used as wager currency before!
Well, i´m off tomorrow on my adventure into the jungle - check back next monday for a wildlife shot :)

Perfect Portrait. Wonderfull how you present her in front of the grey wall. Her eyes reminds me a little bit of the famous Cover from an afghan women on the National Geographic Magazin.

I totally agree with chachi - definitely has a Fifth Element look about it! I love the composition, the tight crop and the use of the empty space to the right.
