Laying down on the floor with him last night for the last time with him was one of the hardest things I've ever went through... before I got him, everyone warned me how tempermental siamese we're and that I would regret bringing him home..smirks..goes to show you judge the basket by one bad apple. He was the best friend and cat I ever had. He would lay next to me for hours on my bed after each of my eye surgeries..all of my bad days..and all of the good ones. And so I couldn't stand the thought of him going through his last bad day without me there lying next to him. I said my goodbyes last night when Buddha lost his battle with feline luekemia.
I encourage everyone that has cats to have theirs tested annually and never take a day with them for granted. Butza went from completely healthy (so we thought) to two visits to the vet in one weekend and having to be put to sleep Sunday evening. All within a matter of 3 weeks.

Awww, damn. Sorry to hear about your bud! Always sucks to lose a good friend - two legs, four legs, no legs, it's all the same. My own cat's overdue for a visit to the vet, but I should be able to remedy that very soon.

very sorry to hear about your best friends passing. whether they are man, woman or animal ut is very upsetting to hear. just know there is no more pain and suffering and he is very peacefull now. i can relate to your loss when I had to put down my dog.

what a beauty he was...i am so very sorry for your loss...its heartbreaking to have to say goodbye to a friend, i have had to make that choice as well, and it is never easy...at least you were there to comfort him at his lowest, as he was there to comfort you when you needed him. an animal knows when they are cherished...and i can tell he was. my deepest sympathies...

So sorry to hear about your cat! I had a 14-year-old cat with cancer that could no longer eat, and my daughter and I stayed with him as he was put to sleep and he purred the whole time. He knew we loved him. I now have four cats and my oldest is 15 or 16. The youngest about two months. All my animals are special and I feel for you. Losing them is awful!

Oh my, now this man has tears. With four little graves on the hill behind the house..and an old Maine Coon girl who sleeps with me each night...oh. I do totally understand. The images tell a fine story, something to keep forever. Thanks for telling us.

Butza was no doubt our best bud. I'm going to miss him something terrable. I know it was the hardest thing that you have ever had to do but it was what we had to do. You know that he is no longer suffering and is in no more pain and he's with his sister mew mew.. He was no doubt the coolest cat. It will take our hearts a long time to heal. I love you Butza.

As I am wiping the tears I know what a wonderful friend he was. Even though I work with life and death everyday it is so hard to lose someone you love! May you play with Mew Mew and remember us. I love you and miss you Butza........ Love your Nana :)

That's soooo sad, I'm very sorry for your loss, my cat is 18 right now and doing fine so far, I've had many great years with her and I dread the day...of saying goodbye!!!!! my heart goes out to you...

that is rely sad, and I am very touched by your story. My god daughter ,who lives with me, has two cats and she would be devasted if we lost one of them I hope you can find another compaion to help lession your loss.

I feel for your loss .That was a beatiful cat and showed both of you had much love for one of other.In the start of the year I put to sleep my pet Manx Prince Currlytail Invictius of Midnight .He was 14 years old and I still mourn his lose.

It's a beautiful piece and he was a beautiful cat. My own cat Snowball passed away last year and I had to decide to put him down when it got too much for him. Urinary Tract Infection., Feline Leukemia, these are vicious and painful and a real threat to all cats. My best wishes for oyu and yours and as a fellow cat lvoer. I'm sorry for your loss.

Aw, sorry, he look like one of my oldest cat named Ananda, she is also a blue ponit siames but actually with 9 years she is starting to look old, and i fear she can went as Budha any one of this days!!! I share your pain, but is good to see cat lovers in this days, a big hug!!!

simese are the best. so sorry for your loss. They are loyal and very protective of their loved ones. If and when you get another baby have vacinated for feline luekemia before you bring him or her into the house as that viris stays for about 2 to 4 years in the place where they lived either outside or inside I know as my mom found out the hard way. I have a rare simese she is an oriential or tabby simese. there are only one out of ever hundred thousand born that way. wbaerr69 and redflame mom and son
