Description

I've always liked the flowers on this hillside. This hike was on August 4, so most plants were in full bloom. Here we have both orange and red Paintbrush, a bit of Beargrass, and over on the left in the dark area are two Anemone Occidentalis, also known as western pasque flower, old man of the mountain, and tow-headed baby. This is a great pov. It really emphasizes the slope. The path is a wonderful way to travel through this shot. The touches of color are perfect.

Wow, quite a rocky trail there! What a beautiful hillside to walk through, I would be tripping on all those rocks because I would be so busy looking at the flowers :)
