Daddy, Come Home No one really knows What to do or what to say You all stand around and listen Outside your front yard Listening to souls Eyes of children Cry out their hearts Never heard so much pain As in all is the family Oh Mama Please! Do not Let it be Daddy was riding his motorcycle Truck did not see him He died and does not feel the pain Oh Please! Do not Let it be Daddy, come home Please! let me see You walk in the door Kiss me good evening Your heart is my smile Daddy, come home Oh Please! Wow. This has to be one of the best things you've ever written. You've done a great job with this very painful subject. That empty, empty landscape goes perfectly with your poetry.
