Bunches of Cherries Life is like a bunch of cherries Some are sour and bitter Crinkles the nose when bit Swallow is hard to choke But sometimes the choices Suck both one and two Edible as delicious are some Easy to chew Slides right down Bright as the sky The sun does shine As the days, years go bye Can be hard to bare A “beast of burden” in mind Does not want it to be Money is important Whether one wants to Omit it or not It gives you shelter Food on the table Clothes to wear And a bed to sleep in Cold is the night The blankets The pillows What comfort Life can bring Taken for granted The toys that play Can break the soul And tear apart A “beast of burden” in mind Does not want it to be Bunches of cherries How rough can it be *Image Bryce 5.5 ©LKS 2007
