Description

Welcome to Planet Turreste. A once thriving planet with sandstone formations carved from rivers & courseways long since gone. Terreste suffers from intense radiation caused by its local star as the planet drifted ever closer & closer until the star burnt itself out, leaving Terreste in a lonely orbit. Terreste's atmosphere still burns hard with radioactive matter & few rarely visit here. Created with Mojoworld Pro3.1 Volumetrics Plugin by Dmytry Lavrov. TFV&C Wºz™

Great effect on the sky woz, looks fantastic. Terrain mats are very nice too. Is your terrain cutting off at the top ? If thats not the effect you want you can increse the 'higher altitude' of your surfaces in the surface editor . Nice work.

Thx both for the comments. Yes Shaun, the surface is clipped (originally) intentionally as it was a nice flat spot to play with meshes. But they lack the levels of detail that I want to look fitting. Therefore I decided to remove them & just do a straight render. The next shot of this planet has an improved sky which works much better IMHO :) ...more to follow, as there will be a set of images as I develop the planet.

Nice canyon shapes...would like to see those without clipping and with some smallscale "weathering" effects.
