Description

Well, I was out playing with my relatively new (at the time) Nikon D-80 and found a bush full of wasps and bees. I was watching and saw the bee climbing up one side and the wasp climbing up the other. So, I snapped when they got close to the top. Which do you think won? I have a shot of the winner which will be posted soon. Thank you for the views and comments on my last post S-s-s-scary... Have a great evening! :^)

Both are wasps I believe, just different types. But that doesn't mean they get along! I would bet on the red wasp but those yellow ones are pretty hyper... Great shot!

Yellowjacket wasp and red wasp, both are social, both defend their nests but seldom fight on chance encounter. Both hurt equally when they sting my bare skin though! Excellent capture!

Had another browse at your Gallery and I can't believe I haven't commented on this Fantastic image, the detail is outstanding. Two for one! That Nikon D-80 of yours is a really good camera and you know how to use it for those macros. Excellent work.
