The last thing you remember is driving home after a wonderful dinner with your friends. Suddenly there was a flash of light and you woke up...... elsewhere. Elsewhere seemed to be a huge waiting room filled with extras from every alien species movie you could think of and not just the friendly ones. The lights are very bright and even though you are in a giant room, everything seems claustrophobic. Odd beings with a clipboard eventually approach you and start making noises. Is it some sort of language or are they just laughing at you? Eventually they start pushing and pulling you towards two giant double doors. You want to resist but what's the use? Where would you go? After you are through the doors, the others quickly walk away and you hear the soft sound of the doors closing. The usually soothing noise is quickly followed up with what could only be described as the sound of a door locking. You take the time to search out your new surroundings. The only doors you can see are the ones you walked through and they are indeed locked. A quick look eventually leads to searching which then turns into probing with your hands and then ends with you kicking at the doors. For a moment you think this might be their version of an April Fools prank. After you settle down you hear a humming noise coming from across the room. It grows louder and louder. Just as it becomes nearly impossible to stand, cracks form on the wall. In the shape of a doorway. Slowly you creep to the newly made door. Once there you touch what was once a part of the wall. As it falls the lights go out. Suddenly a light turns on and you wish it hadn't. Standing across from you is a beautiful but frightening woman wearing a strange uniform. In front of her is a table that appears to be made from some sort of metal with electronics implanted through most of it. The most unsettling part though has to be the blood, it is everywhere on the table. The beautiful creature then lifts up her scalpel, beckons to you, and says, "Next, please." This actually made it to one of the Daz Newsletters after being posted on the Plat Club forum for the Mad Science challenge.
