Description

On August 12 a small group from the hiking club climbed Mt St Helens in southern Washington state. I got this shot of sunrise at about 5:30 AM at the climbers' bivouac, where we spent the night so we could get an early start. For me it was a very difficult climb, but I got a few good shots, so let's get started with a new series. Thanks for all the supportive and thoughtful comments on the Vista Ridge hike series. All views and comments are always most appreciated.
