Stare To Think
Wind is soft and cool
Looking to see before
Windows of mine open
Stare out to sit and think
What we think
Do to ourselves
Possible way
It might or could it be
Endure a life never known
Conversations of the mind
Words drift in and out
Whispers of the night
Speak loud and clear
Is that quicksand
Grab me under
Is it water?
Float me over
Really real
Does it see?
Make believe
Might it be?
To trust someone
What I think
Deepest thoughts
Mind and body
Raw emotions
Enter my soul
Heart grows wild
A soft caress
A stroking hand
Or even a cuddle
Sends a shiver
Down my back
So I go day to day
Patches feel in the holes
What would it take?
What connection
To trust someone
Could it be?
Might it be?
Across the stormy
And the calmly
How I stare out
Across the wind
Windows of mine
