Description

These days i'm watching news and realize that many wonderful protected areas in my country (Italy)have been completely destroyed by fires,1700 in one year, the ecosystem is ruined and many species like bears, rare birds and insects are risking extinction. These are the parks where i love to go for trekking vacations,Abruzzo region among them... What hurts the most is that some criminals are paid to kill people, animals and nature for the profit of business men with no soul. I saw a man who was sixty on tv,thirty years as a volunteer in rescue operations and he was crying...we feel so helpless sometimes... this image came to life after that... Thank you all for the kind words and the faves on my previous work.

I see fire and ice in this image Sara...really neat and wonderful. I'm sorry that it is in reflection of a reality that it to real and hurtful.

Your image is beautiful. It saddens me that people destroy what nature has created.

You are quite correct in that the abuse mankind imposes upon the this planet, be it environmental or otherwise, erodes the soul and places all of us in profound risk. We are the custodians of a special place, and there are few of us left to care. It is good that you use your art to awaken the sleeping spirit of the world. Excellent creation!!!

A lovely fractured fractal just like your landscape. I was sorry to hear about your fires they seemed to travel so fast. I hope you get some rain soon to help with the revival.

The description is a bit difficult. Rather than looking at this piece for it's beauty, you are showing me through your eyes the pain and destruction it represents. I am aware of what fire can provide. Then again, a little all too well on what it's capable of. I think I want to visualize this render for it's beauty instead... Amazing work as always!

I've been keeping up to date with the events in your country, as well as in Greece, Sara...and I'm profoundly touched, deeply saddened, and concerned for you, your people, your region, and the environmental toll and impact as well. I struggle with whether to take some ill-comfort in the fact that it is not simply my country that falls prey to those filled with greed which births contemptable actions...or whether to weep endlessly for the state of affairs we have found ourself in, as a world in general. Admittedly, most times, it is the latter. I have wholly realized that I am simply, and thankfully, incapable of comprehending the former. May you find some semblance of comfort and solace in knowing that there are those of us, 'round the globe, who remain mindful of your country's plight..and hold you in our thoughts. Again, a beautiful representation from you...albeit tragic. But, it's meaning is resonant..and its impact, powerful.
