In an instant, they were standing in front of a house just off an apparently busy street. The both winced because of the bright sunlight. -----“Forgot about that…” _”Yeah, so did I. Anything happen around here while I was gone?”_ -----“Let’s see…More talk of someone making a Hobbit© movie…a couple of Harry Potter© movies came out…and the final book…nothing much really.” Amanda sighed and breathed in a somewhat large amount of air. _”Can’t beat New Zealand for the fresh air. You got the last book…right?”_ -----“Just for you.” _”Thank God. When all this is over, I’m gonna take a break and read it.”_ They both walked up to the door and into the house. _”Little dusty around here.”_ She said this as though it should have been cleaned before they arrived. -----“Well…duhhhh. It’s been two freakin’ years.” She walked through to the kitchen. Yelling back: _”Thought you’d be back in time to do the dishes?”_ -----“Oh….forgot about them….just uh…toss ‘em.” With sounds of breaking plates: _”Already ahead of you…take out the trash tomorrow.”_ -----“No problem.” After an hour of cleaning up the neglected house, the both arrived in the den. -----“Now what?” _”Charlie was still living here when ya’ll left out to get me, right?”_ -----“Yeah…so?” _”To his room…he’ll know before either of us, where to start our search. I’ve got a couple of tricks up my sleeve to help us find him…but it’ll be easier if he can point us in a direction.”_ After that brief statement, it didn’t take a full minute before they were up the stairs and trying to unlock Charlie’s door. -----“A dead bolt, two Master locks and some kind of enchantment…what the hell was he hiding?” They stood there trying to work out the enchantment, in hopes of breaking it without destroying the house. _”Well, he was secretive.”_ -----SECRETIVE?!? He was bangin’ my sis…if he thought anything should have been a secret…” _”You knew about that…he wouldn’t let me in here either. I’ve got my theories about why…but I won’t know until we get in.”_ Amanda pulled out her wand and, pointing it at the door, muttered something. The frame of the door glowed blue for just a second…then faded. _”What the hell?”_ -----“Oh…yeah…Right after your accident…a Potter book came out…he would have gotten this idea from that….” _”So?”_ -----“So…Charlie’s an idiot.” Perry pulled a small knife from his side pouch and cut his hand. Amanda looked on in amazement. He wiped the blood on the door frame and a ‘click’ came from the doorknob. _”Hmmm….I’ll have to read that one too.”_ -----“You’re gonna get REALLY pissed off at the end of that one.” They walked into the room. It was more than evident why Charlie was so secretive.
