Description

Another attempt at a Japanese flavored fractal using UF. The "faux" keyboard ribbon thing was created using Kerry Mitchell's incredibly flexible Rose Range Lite .ucl. Can I ask you guys something? If you were thinking of leaving a comment here anyway... could you also let me know what screen resolution you are using? I've only got a 17" monitor and my resolution is 960x762 (cuz I can't read text using anything larger) so this image is too big to view without scrolling. No doubt most of you have larger monitors and use a higher rez... I'd just like to know so that I can size my final images in a way that ya'll don't have to scroll all over the place. Thanks very much! Thank you all, as well, for your gracious comments and favs on "Wedding Ribbons~Redux". Got a note from Renderosity that it made the Art Charts this week... scared me, actually... lol! And thanks for taking the time to have a peek at this one! Hugs! Helen :)

Beautiful... I use 1680x1050 on a 22" wide screen monitor. I have to scroll just a touch to see the full length of the image.

Helen, I've got a 17" monitor also, but I use 1280 x 1024 resolution. Heck, I make my own images so freakin' big that I have to scroll them in UF all the time! LOL! Doesn't really bother me all that much, since I love making them big like that. And this one of yours---if you could have seen the look just now on my face when I first saw it, and saw that you made that piano keyboard with Kerry's outside coloring formula (!!!)--I'm telling you, my jaw dang near hit the floor! I stared, and stared, and stared, and just sat here for I don't know how many minutes! The whole piece is astoundingly beautiful, and it's going straight to the fave list; then, I'm gonna go find that formula in UF! ROFL! Would you please (pretty please!) tell me how to get the gradient done for that kind of effect?! I make my own gradients all the time, but how you did that one is beyond my understanding! It's flat out perfect, and that's no joke. I would utterly love to be able to incorporate such a thing into some of my own fractals, but I may very well need help figuring out the mechanics of the gradient for that keyboard. Tell you what, if you've seen anything of mine that you'd love to have, I'll gladly swap a file or two with you, gradient-wise! Just let me know! Absolutely beautiful, astounding work on this one--I do believe you've just topped 'em all!

Eu utilizo monitor de 17 , 1024x768, e minha imagens gosto de 1.600 x 1.200 Ou pouca coisa mais, para que possam ser vistos os detalhes, mesmo que se yenha que correr um pouco, quando colocar em ful. Maravilhosa obra feita, aplausos (5) I use monitor of 17, 1024x768, and my images taste of 1.600 x 1.200 Or little more thing, so that the details can be seen, even if if yenha that to run a little, when it puts in ful. Wonderful done work, applauses (5)

1024x768 on a 17" monitor. So yes, I have to scroll down. The thing is: if you make it smaller maybe we loose the chance of viewing the details better. Beautiful work, Helen. And Wedding Ribbons-Redux hitting the Charts is well-deserved.
